It is difficult to find books that teach art (history) in a meaninglful way to children. The explanation of techniques used as well as the biographies of the artists were helpful and interesting. My 8 year old daughter has expressed some interest in art and she enjoyed the book. Using the "everyday" element of weather makes it easier for children to relate to as well.
