Clouds (Weather Watchers) ReviewI guess the first thing I want to say is I do not agree with the way children's books are rated by age.There is a big difference in what a 4 year old would read and what an 8 year old would read.In my opinion this book SHOULD fall in the 12 months-5 years range.It is Way over priced for what you get.
The good about the book.The only thing I can come up with is that it has nice pictures of clouds.This book is a very basic picture book.Each page consists of 1 to 2 sentance statements such as "Some clouds are low." and that's the whole page! It dosen't even tell the types of clouds you are looking at.The techinal name for the clouds (cirrus,stratus,cumulus and cumulonimbus) is listed at the back of the book with a drawn diagram and you could flip back through and see which is which but why not put it on the page with the actual picture of the cloud? I don't get it,isn't that the main thing you need to learn about clouds? If you are looking for some useful information on clouds or weather I suggest you look at other books,my 7 year old laughed at this book as she literally flipped through reading.Clouds (Weather Watchers) OverviewWhat are clouds made of?
