Hot Weather ReviewJohn is a former college football player, who came out back in high school. He is now facing his first summer working, and is not taking the loss of his summer well. There appears to be no end to the rut he has gotten himself into--no boyfriend, his car has died, it is hotter then hell out and he has to find another place to have lunch. But walking into the empty diner might just be the summer relief he needs.
Keith is in between semesters of school and while all of his friends are hanging out at the beach for the summer. he needs to make money for school. He can't believe it when John walks into the diner, and when he comes back. But does John feel the same things he does and is he willing to take things slowly like Keith wants? The outside temperature is not the only thing heating up this summer.
Hot Weather was my first foray into M/M romances and I was very pleasantly surprised. The story was very well written with characters the author made became real as life in my mind You could easily imagine this story happening during a summer heat wave. I found it interesting to see the dynamic play out between John and Keith and I found myself rooting for Keith to get what he wanted in the end, and bring John around to his way of thinking. There was at least one super hot scene involving M/M erotica but it was so well written any lover of heterosexual romances as well M/M or F/F will enjoy it. I thoroughly enjoyed this authors writing and will look for other works by him in the future.

reviewed for Joyfully ReviewedHot Weather OverviewThere's more to summer than just hot weather. Fresh out of college and new to the working world, John faces reality spending the rest of his life stuck behind a desk instead of having fun in the sun with his friends. His boss is on his back, his car is breaking down, and the oppressive heat is broiling him alive. There's no end in sight to his misery. Tall, slender, green-eyed Keith runs the lunch shift at the local diner, an air-conditioned oasis away from what John's life has become. Keith's cheerful personality, constant smile and unbearably sexy body help to remind John that summer is what he makes of it. And with Keith's cooperation, John plans on making this his best summer yet. Warning: This story contains two hot guys having hot sex one hot summer. Lots of hotness. Please be advised that a fire extinguisher may come in handy; so would ice cubes, used at your discretion.

Rain and Whiskey (Stormy Weather) ReviewLet's get this straight.
This book from front cover to back is all sex. Their is no plot, the characters all they ever do is have sex. The dialect is cringe worthy. Oh and don't forget the no 'plot' thing. A spoon has more depth than the characters written in this book.
I like my m/m erotica like the next person. But when their is a reason for it. The sex should be inter-woven into the story, not just plucked into every *single* page, and lets be honest the sex wasn't written all that well.
The sequel is just as disappointing as the prequel. I had bought them both together and I really wish I didn't.Rain and Whiskey (Stormy Weather) OverviewGalen Frost is used to taking what he wants, and after years as a semi-pro football player, he wants to get away from it all, making himself a home in a small Florida town.Shane is a beach bum, good time bartender, living it up every night, never really looking at the same guy twice. When they meet at the bar one night, sparks fly, and the heat amazes them both, like the burn of good whiskey. Nothing is easy with these guys though, and they have to ride out the storm that breaks between them when Galen's old life rears its ugly head. Can Galen and Shane find shelter from the rain?

Stormy Weather ReviewMonths after a crushing breakup, Drake Calhoun feels the need to get away. He gets into his car and begins to drive aimlessly, only to end up broken down in a storm. Sexy mechanic Vic arrives and takes him and his car to Vic's garage. Drake thinks Vic is very attractive, and soon finds that Vic thinks the same about him. Will breaking down in the storm turn out to be a stroke of luck for Drake after all?
I have mixed feelings about Stormy Weather. The atmosphere and setting were great. Adrianna Dane did an excellent job describing the storm, and the outdoor scenes. I liked insecure Drake, who'd always felt inadequate with his former lover. Vic is sexy and kind, and suffered a tragic loss in the past, but his character is not very well-developed other than that. The love scenes are hot. I guess my problems with Stormy Weather were the dialogue, which had a tendency to be unrealistic, and the way-too-perfect ending. Despite those things, however, Stormy Weather is a quick and hot read.
