He writes about things like: what a hurricane is, Past storms of the years, modern storms, FAQ's. He then talks about life in a hurricane zone. He tells you things like where to park your car, where to be in your house during the storm, to evacuate or not to?, what to have on hand during the storm, what to do when winds approach certain levels. He then talks about storm surges, insurance claims, etc. He gives a summary of what a Hurricane is, and how he feels about things like Hurricane Categories 1-5, and 5 day hurricane tracks!! The book is overall a must to have for those in dangers harm, it includes several check lists of things to do, before, during and after the storm.
